We held a World War 2 Themed Week in order to help us to think about Remembrance Day. This was very exciting and each class enjoyed a variety of carefully planned activities in relation to this theme. Children made poppies using a range of media and talked about the significance of the poppy; at an age-appropriate level. Children in KS2 talked about World War 2 and enjoyed learning about what life was like during the war. 

We concluded the week by dressing up in World War 2 costumes. The children all looked fantastic so thank you for all of the time and effort spent in getting the costumes ready at home. This was greatly appreciated and created such a memorable day for the children.
