Hello Reception!

 

It is another beautiful morning outside and I hope you are all well.

The lovely weather makes me feel so positive and I am looking forward to being outside for my daily walk later.

 

I thought you might enjoy some outdoor activities today so here are a few ideas:

1) With the permission of a grown up, fill a tray or paddling pool with water and explore the things that float and the things that sink using objects from around your home or inside your toybox!

2) Do some 'water writing' outside using squirty bottles (these can be empty shampoo or washing up liquid containers). Chalk a letter shape onto the ground and watch it magically disappear as you 'write' over it!

3)If you have access to chalk, can you create a number line outside on the ground from 0-20?

4)Sit in a shady spot and choose a favourite story to re-tell to someone. Remember the fun we had in Story Land back in class? You could re-create this as you step through your magic mirror!
