Trout in the classroom-Ribble Rivers Trust
The children are having an exciting time learning to look after wild brown trout! With the help of the Ribble Rivers Trust, Year 5 have been given the opportunity to learn all about the life of the river. Make sure you ask the children all about their learning-there is so much to share!
Guitar lessons are on a Friday afternoon-please encourage your child to practice at home and return their guitar on a Friday morning.
School reading/library book to be taken home daily and read to an adult. Please leave a comment/signature in your child's reading record.
Daily revision of times tables/related division facts up to 12x12. Please use your Times Table Rockstar account to help with this.
At the start of each half term your child will bring home a spelling booklet with spellings to learn at home-please encourage your child to learn these daily.
Year 5 have PE on Wednesday morning and Thursday afternoon.
Please ensure your child has a full kit in school.
Indoor kit: Black/Navy blue shorts, white t-shirt and black pumps.
Outdoor kit: Tracksuit/jogging bottoms, long sleeved top and trainers.
All PE kit should be clearly named.
All jewellery must be removed and long hair must be tied back.
