Learn, Grow and Achieve Together through God's love

Monday 6th July

Hello Everyone!

I hope that you are ready for a new week of learning.

Here is a link to your Learning Project:

Please disregard the date at the top of the Learning Project as this is the one that we are using for the week.

This is a lovely project as it is based around one of my favourite stories. I love the story of 'Handa's Surprise' as it makes me think of lots of interesting and exciting fruit!

Maybe you could draw or paint a picture of your favourite fruit and then write a sentence underneath to say why you like it. An example might be 'My favourite fruit is a strawberry because it tastes sweet.' Remember to use your sounds to help you with your writing.

I also like the activity on the project that encourages you to taste different foods from around the world including pizza! What is your favourite pizza topping? Maybe you could make a tick chart showing the favourite pizza toppings for different member of your family...

Your Weekly Words are attached below:

These words will help you to apply your phonic knowledge and practise the sounds that you know.

I will post a daily update on our Class Page and this will give you a new challenge everyday so please check back.

Enjoy your day!

 Mrs. Powell
