Today is a Science Day as your activity revolves around this subject.

Have a look on Page 12. I love the 'Washing Up Bowl Science' activity. You can explore volume and capacity using different containers. These might be empty yoghurt pots, plastic cups, jugs, spoons of different sizes etc. Which container or spoon holds the most/least? How do you know? How could you make your experiment fair?

It then suggests that you change the water by adding bubbles or scents. Can you talk about what has happened when you mix the water around?
