On behalf of our school family I would like to welcome you to our school website. It is an absolute pleasure and a privilege to be the Headteacher of St Stephen’s Church of England VA Primary School. Our school is situated in Burnley next to Towneley Park and only a short distance away from Turf Moor.
Our safeguarding and Child Protection policy gives clear direction to the staff and others about the procedures for dealing with protection issues. All child protection concerns are handled sensitively, professionally and they put the child at the centre of decisions and discussions. We are fortunate at St Stephen's to have created a wonderful nurture provision called 'The Ark' which provides a space for children to talk and feel safe. View More
