Learn, Grow and Achieve Together through God's love

Monday 22nd June

Hello Reception!

Welcome to Marvellous Monday! Remember, each day of the week has an alliterative phrase that we came up with in class before school closed. I’ll remind you of each of them on my daily updates this week!

You have a new Learning Project for this week. It is entitled ‘In the Rainforest’.

I have attached it below for ease of reference.

Please note that the date at the top of the project says 11.05.20. Please disregard the date- this is the correct learning project for the week!

I loved looking through this Learning Project! One of my favourite activities has to be the one where you can make an animal home. I wonder what your animal home will look like? Maybe you could take a picture and send it into me at

The Learning Project also has a lovely activity based around my favourite story. I always love reading ‘The Tiger Who Came to Tea’. In fact, I remember this being read to me when I was a child in Reception Class myself! Maybe you could draw a picture of a tiger and add some labels? You might even design a new menu just in case the tiger should ever come for tea again!

Don’t forget about your Weekly Words. I will attach these below for ease of reference but you can also access words from previous weeks’ by going back to our ‘Home Learning Activities’ page and scrolling down. These will help you to practise your phonics at home.

As always, remember to look on the Oak National Academy for some daily Maths and English lessons.

If you’d like an extra challenge today, have a go at accessing Oxford Owl eBooks. There are lots to choose from and the website is

Have a fun day and look out for my daily updates!

Stay Safe!
