Learn, Grow and Achieve Together through God's love

Thursday 16th July

Hello Reception!

Thursday is here and we have an R.E Challenge for you today...

In our Worship and R.E sessions, we have often talked about the special people in our lives; whether this be family, friends or other people who are close to us.

Today I would like you to think about someone who is special to you.

Can you draw or paint a picture of them?

Can you mount this onto cardboard and turn it into a picture frame?

You could decorate the frame and then display the picture of your special person somewhere at home.

A second challenge is based around our R.E topic of Prayer.

Maybe you could cut out some heart and flower shapes and write your own prayers to God. Remember, we might pray to thank God or ask him to look after someone close to use. You might even want to create your own little book of special pictures to remind you of things that you might say to God when you pray, for example, thanking him for creation, family, friends, food, our home etc.

Enjoy your day!

Mrs. Powell
