Miss Pilling (Class Teacher Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon)

Mrs Ashworth (Class Teacher Wednesday morning, Thursday and Friday)

Weekly Homework Tasks:

Keep an eye out on Class Dojo for weekly homework tasks!

- Daily reading at home (home reading book) to an adult

- TT Rockstars / practising times tables

Daily reading: Your child will receive a home reading book and record. Please hear your child read at home on a regular basis (ideally 5-10 minutes every day) and sign their reading record. When your child has finished their book, they need to hand it in to Mrs Ashworth, Miss Pilling, Miss Payne or Mr Smart who will change it.

TT Rockstars / times tables: Please encourage your child to learn all of the times tables (up to 12x12) and their related division facts. This will help your child in several aspects of mathematics. All children have been give a login for Times Table Rock Stars but please feel free to practise in whichever way you feel suits your child.

PE Times/Kit:

In Year 6, P.E. is on Tuesday and Friday . Please ensure your child has their kit in school for each lesson and that their kit follows our school uniform policy. (See PE poster for more details).

All clothing and footwear should be clearly named. All jewellery must be removed for P.E. and long hair must be tied back. In addition to this, there is an update regarding the wearing of earrings for Autumn 2 2024. Please see the attached Uniform Policy for details.
