Here is today's Home Learning Challenge:

Estimation

Play this game with a grown up.

Find an empty jar or container and choose objects that you could put in. This could be anything at all- crayons, leaves, counters- the choice is yours! Keep the amount within a maximum of 10.

One of you needs to put your objects into the jar or container. Remember you can have up to 10 items.

Now the other person needs to guess how many have been put in!

Will you estimate correctly? Remember that estimation is about having a sensible guess.

Count to check if your estimate was correct,,, now change over and see who gets the most right!

You could create a Score Board and record this together.
