Hello Reception!

We hope that you had a lovely half term. 

The weather was certainly beautiful and we hope that you managed to enjoy some time outside enjoying the sunshine safely.

We will post a new Learning Project starting from Monday but thought you might welcome a few little challenges over the next couple of days. 

 

Challenge 1:

Rhyme Time!

Sing some nursery rhymes together.

Can you identify the rhyming words? 

Draw a picture to illustrate your favourite nursery rhyme. Can you have a go at writing the words underneath? Don't forget to use your fabulous phonics skills!

 

Challenge 2:

Have some fun with volume and capacity!

Can you explore the concepts of full, empty, nearly full and nearly empty?

Can you extend to include half full?

This activity just needs some water and different sized empty containers to explore.

 

It would be great to see how you get on with any of the above.
