'Learn, Grow and Achieve Together Through God's Love'
We have set up a 'Home Learning' page under the 'Key Information' tab. This will provide more information for you about how to access a quality education for your children at home. Please remember to check your child's class page under the 'Children' tab for regular updates from your classteacher. Please collect a paper pack if you cannot access technology. If you would like more information please phone the DFE coronavirus helpline 0800 046 8687 or visit the full government guidance at:https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/guidance-to-educational-settings-about-covid-19/guidance-to-educational-settings-about-covid-19
Thank you for your tremendous support and understanding in this matter, if anything positive can come out of this then it is the wonderful community spirit and offers of help that have been overwhelming.
We are working towards the Lancashire Quality Award in Early Years, which is an exciting way of reflecting on our practice and enriching your child's learning experiences within our Reception Class. We have already achieved the 'Step into Quality Award' and this really helped to enhance the learning opportunities that we made available within Reception. Last year, we were proud to attain Stage 1 of the Quality Award so are excited to move forward with the next step. We are now progressing towards Stage 2 and will be looking at ways that we improve on our existing practice in terms of how we meet every child's individual needs; especially in light of these somewhat different times.
As we progress towards Stage 3 of the Quality Award, we will also look at the opportunities and experiences that we make available in both our indoor and outdoor environments. We will involve the children in evaluating our provision; looking at ways to develop this further, with their interests and needs at the heart of everything that we do.
