We have set up a 'Home Learning' page under the 'Key Information' tab.  This will provide more information for you about how to access a quality education  for your children at home.  Please remember to check your child's class page under the 'Children' tab for regular updates from your classteacher.  Please collect a paper pack if you cannot access technology.  If you would like more information please phone the DFE coronavirus helpline 0800 046 8687 or visit the full government guidance at:

Thank you for your tremendous support and understanding in this matter, if anything positive can come out of this then it is the wonderful community spirit and offers of help that have been overwhelming.

Learn, Grow and Achieve Together through God's love

Friday 3rd July

Fabulous Friday!

Today is Art Day but there is a lovely mathematical link too.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to think about elements of Religious Education in today's activity because it involves the gathering of natural materials outside. This is a lovely opportunity to reflect upon God's creation.

Please refer to pages 7-13 of the activity link above.

You will be exploring pattern and there is a link to Andy Goldsworthy who made some magnificent art pieces using natural materials.

I wonder if you could be a future artist and create your own masterpiece using natural materials outside?

You could gather leaves, sticks, stones, pinecones, petals etc. You could use this time to reflect on the lovely creation around us from God.

There are some design templates in the link above or you could create your own.

There are also some ideas using circular patterns or borders.

I'd love to see your designs and I know that Mrs. Rennolds and Mrs. Starr would be equally impressed! Please send photographs into photos@st-stephens-pri.lancs.sch.uk

Enjoy your weekend,

Mrs. Powell
