Tuesday 21st April
Good Morning Reception!
I hope you are all well and have been enjoying the glorious sunshine so far this week.
I was in school yesterday and we played 'What time is it Mr Wolf?' outside on the grass. We were careful to count the steps carefully as we headed towards the excitement of 'Dinner Time!' Maybe you could play this game outside too? It is a great way of practising your numbers and simple time skills.
This is a useful link for you:
It has been provided by the Department for Education and contains some excellent resources that you may wish to access at home:
In addition, have you tried accessing Oxford Owl online?
They give access to some fabulous eBooks; free of charge. All you have to do is sign up and you will be able to access reading books including ones that we use in school such as Floppy's Phonics and Oxford Reading Tree.
Don't forget to login to NumBots at home.
I can see that some of you have already and that's fantastic! You have been working really hard on your Maths and I am so proud.
Remember to check this week's Weekly Words . They are back on the Home Learning page for Reception. Just scroll down to find them and have fun practising your sounds and words.
Enjoy your day and I'll be back tomorrow with a new update.
Have fun!
Mrs. Powell
