Hello Reception!
It is really important to be able to form your numbers correctly so today's challenge is to practise this at home.
Some numbers are easier to form than others so don't give up! Keep on having a go and you will get there in the end.
You don't always have to use a pencil and paper either.
If you have chunky chalks at home; these are great to practise with and can even be used outside. Don't forget to ask permission from a grown up first though!
If you have paint, this can be fun, especially on large sheets of paper.
Water and paintbrushes outside can be exciting. You could even fill empty shampoo bottles with water and squirt number shapes onto the ground.
I'd love to see some of your ideas so feel free to send them in to photos@st-stephens-pri.lancs.sch.uk.
Have fun!
