Week 7

Wednesday 20th May
Good morning Year 5! What are your plans for today? The weather forecast is looking very promising-this will be a nice treat for your daily exercise!
Looking forward to seeing you all again-hopefully it will be safe enough soon. In the meantime, just keep trying your best and remember I'm here if you need any help.
Stay safe x
This week the theme is 'Celebrations'. Please feel free to send in any photographs of you working to the school email address so that we can share them with your friends at school.
Keep working hard on TTR. Who will be the leader this week?
Lat weeks highest earner: Claudia
Last weeks most improved: Lucca
Each week there will a science question and a science fact to get you thinking and to research. Find this on the school Facebook page and the science section of the school web page.
I know you enjoy the 'Picture News', so I've added a section for you to look at.
I've been thinking about you all everyday and hoping that you're all OK. I'm looking forward to seeing and hearing about what you have been up to when we meet again.
Take care and stay safe,
Mrs Pate

Additional support/learning material
The BBC daily educational input is up and running. Below is a link which shows what they are providing and where.
'In addition, to support the hard work of schools in delivering remote education, the Oak National Academy is due to launch on Monday 20 April. This brand-new enterprise has been created by 40 teachers from some of the leading schools across England, backed by government grant funding. It will provide 180 video lessons each week, across a broad range of subjects from maths to art to languages, for every year group from Reception through to Year 10.' Taken from Gov.uk.
