This week the theme is 'Under the Sea'. Please feel free to send in any photographs of you working to the school email address so that we can share them with your friends at school.
Keep working hard on TTR. Who will be the leader this week?
Each week there will a science question and a science fact to get you thinking and to research. Find this on the school Facebook page and the science section of the school web page.
I know you enjoy the 'Picture News', so I've added a section for you to look at.
I know some of you may be anxious and upset about the government's plans about the wider opening of schools, and how this affects the children in Year 5. If you feel like you would like to talk to me about any concerns or would like any support, please do contact me on the school telephone number and I'll try and help you in the best way possible.
I hope you are all doing the best you can, and remember that this isn't going to be forever.
Take care and stay safe,
Mrs Pate xxx
Additional support/learning material
The BBC daily educational input is up and running. Below is a link which shows what they are providing and where.
'In addition, to support the hard work of schools in delivering remote education, the Oak National Academy is due to launch on Monday 20 April. This brand-new enterprise has been created by 40 teachers from some of the leading schools across England, backed by government grant funding. It will provide 180 video lessons each week, across a broad range of subjects from maths to art to languages, for every year group from Reception through to Year 10.' Taken from Gov.uk.
