'Learn, Grow and Achieve Together Through God's Love'
We have set up a 'Home Learning' page under the 'Key Information' tab. This will provide more information for you about how to access a quality education for your children at home. Please remember to check your child's class page under the 'Children' tab for regular updates from your classteacher. Please collect a paper pack if you cannot access technology. If you would like more information please phone the DFE coronavirus helpline 0800 046 8687 or visit the full government guidance at:https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/guidance-to-educational-settings-about-covid-19/guidance-to-educational-settings-about-covid-19
Thank you for your tremendous support and understanding in this matter, if anything positive can come out of this then it is the wonderful community spirit and offers of help that have been overwhelming.
We are continuing to progress through our Letters and Sounds Programme. Please refer to Seesaw for differentiated homework based on the stage that your child is working at.
In Literacy, we will be listening to the story of 'Bear Snores On'. We will be making our own signs to make sure that he isn't woken from his winter sleep. This story is available on YouTube but please remember that as a school we aren't responsible for the content of external websites.
In Maths, we will be learning to add two groups of objects together. We will throw up to five bean bags into a hoop and count how many land inside/outside of it. We will enjoy the song of Five Speckled Frogs- how many frogs are on the log/in the pool? We will begin to recognise the add and equals signs.
This week in R.E, we will look at Diwali. We will use the 'CBeebies Let's Celebrate' link below:
We will then make our own salt dough candle holders for Diwali.
This week in Topic, our theme is Hibernation. We will make cosy nests or dens for the animals using boxes, leaves and branches.
