'Learn, Grow and Achieve Together Through God's Love'
We have set up a 'Home Learning' page under the 'Key Information' tab. This will provide more information for you about how to access a quality education for your children at home. Please remember to check your child's class page under the 'Children' tab for regular updates from your classteacher. Please collect a paper pack if you cannot access technology. If you would like more information please phone the DFE coronavirus helpline 0800 046 8687 or visit the full government guidance at:https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/guidance-to-educational-settings-about-covid-19/guidance-to-educational-settings-about-covid-19
Thank you for your tremendous support and understanding in this matter, if anything positive can come out of this then it is the wonderful community spirit and offers of help that have been overwhelming.
We are continuing to progress through our Letters and Sounds Programme. Please refer to Seesaw for differentiated homework based on the stage that your child is working at.
In Literacy, we will be listening to the story of 'Letters to Santa'. We will be writing our own letters to Father Christmas.
In Maths, we will be learning about the number eight. We will be learning to count and arrange eight objects reliably. We will look at weight and will use a balance scale to weigh Santa's presents; deciding which are heavier and lighter.
This week in R.E, we will look at the Nativity Story. This will link with our class Nativity Performance, which we will video later this term.
This week in Topic, our theme is Christmas. We will look at how we all celebrate Christmas and will begin to order familiar events such as putting up a Christmas Tree or wrapping a present.
