'Learn, Grow and Achieve Together Through God's Love'

We have set up a 'Home Learning' page under the 'Key Information' tab.  This will provide more information for you about how to access a quality education  for your children at home.  Please remember to check your child's class page under the 'Children' tab for regular updates from your classteacher.  Please collect a paper pack if you cannot access technology.  If you would like more information please phone the DFE coronavirus helpline 0800 046 8687 or visit the full government guidance at:

Thank you for your tremendous support and understanding in this matter, if anything positive can come out of this then it is the wonderful community spirit and offers of help that have been overwhelming.

Learn, Grow and Achieve Together through God's love

Week Commencing 28th September

This week, we are learning all about the number 2.

We will watch the Numberblocks episodes- 'Another One' and 'Two'.

You can access these on the link below:

After watching these episodes in class, we will be going outside to play ball games that involve two people. We will use the tennis rackets and balls.

In class, we will play with Noah's Ark and make pictures of two animals. We will listen to the song, 'The Animals Went in Two by Two'.

We will also have a go at sorting pictures into hoops; deciding which pictures represent two and which do not.

In Literacy, we will enjoy listening to the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. We will talk about what happened in the story; carefully sequencing key events such as eating porridge, breaking Baby Bear's chair and sleeping in the bed.

I have found a version of the story that you can access here:

When you have listened to the story, can you describe what has happened? Can you make stick puppets or  a mask for the characters to re-tell it in your own way? Can you draw your favourite part of the story?

We will be learning the sounds s, a, t, p and finding objects that begin with these sounds.

We will be naming the parts of our body and what they are used for. We will listen to the song 'Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes'. We will have fun drawing around our bodies and will enjoy sensory activities such as our feely bag or blindfold drawing.

We will be talking about how we have all changed since we were babies. We will look at baby photographs; noting how God knows each and every one of us.

On the 6th October we were informed by a parent of a child in Year 4 that their child had tested positive for Covid-19. The school took immediate action and isolated the bubble. The parents of all the other students in the child's class (Year 4), have been contacted and all children and staff in this class have been sent home as of 6th October (pm) and told to self-isolate for 14 days. The rooms where the class have been taught were deep cleaned immediately. No other pupil bubbles in any other year group have been affected.
