'Learn, Grow and Achieve Together Through God's Love'

We have set up a 'Home Learning' page under the 'Key Information' tab.  This will provide more information for you about how to access a quality education  for your children at home.  Please remember to check your child's class page under the 'Children' tab for regular updates from your classteacher.  Please collect a paper pack if you cannot access technology.  If you would like more information please phone the DFE coronavirus helpline 0800 046 8687 or visit the full government guidance at:

Thank you for your tremendous support and understanding in this matter, if anything positive can come out of this then it is the wonderful community spirit and offers of help that have been overwhelming.

Learn, Grow and Achieve Together through God's love

Week Commencing 23rd November

Phonics

We are continuing to progress through our Letters and Sounds Programme. Please refer to Seesaw for differentiated homework based on the stage that your child is working at.

Literacy

In Literacy, we will be learning about lists. We will write a list for a trip to the moon using our sounds. We will base this on the story of 'Whatever Next!'.

Mathematics

In Maths, we will be learning about the number seven. We will learn to identify this number and will arrange the amount of seven in different ways on a Ten Frame. We will also learn about height; linking this with our 'Whatever Next!' story. We will learn the words 'taller' and 'shorter'.

Religious Education

This week in R.E, we will talk about how Jesus was special. We will read the story of 'Feeding the 5000' and taste different types of bread!

Topic

This week in Topic, our theme is Nocturnal Animals. We will talk about how some animals are awake at night when we are all asleep. We will also talk about jobs that people do at night such as a firefighter, police officer or paramedic.
