'Learn, Grow and Achieve Together Through God's Love'
We have set up a 'Home Learning' page under the 'Key Information' tab. This will provide more information for you about how to access a quality education for your children at home. Please remember to check your child's class page under the 'Children' tab for regular updates from your classteacher. Please collect a paper pack if you cannot access technology. If you would like more information please phone the DFE coronavirus helpline 0800 046 8687 or visit the full government guidance at:https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/guidance-to-educational-settings-about-covid-19/guidance-to-educational-settings-about-covid-19
Thank you for your tremendous support and understanding in this matter, if anything positive can come out of this then it is the wonderful community spirit and offers of help that have been overwhelming.
Hi Year 2, hope you have all had a good weekend in the surprisingly good weather.
Find the link below to your work for next week. Remember do not worry about the date as the Robin Hood mats continued over the Easter and the May half term holidays. I hope you found it being broken down into days easier.
The project this week is sport which I am sure you will enjoy. I must admit my favourite activities this week are all on the creative side: design your own family mascot and designing your own team kit taking into account the national flag. I think you will come up with some fantastic ideas.
Miss Mitchell has asked all staff to pass on some exciting musical information. See the details below.
Lancashire Music Service: Virtual Big Sing
Children both in schools and at home are invited to be part of Lancashire Big Sing! We'll be hosting a ‘Virtual’ Big Sing on our Lancashire Music Service YouTube channel available to young singers at home or in school.
For those of you who love to sing, why not get involved? Click here for more information:
Follow the daily videos on the LMS YouTube Channel from Monday 15th June to learn the songs and then join in on Thursday 25th June when children and families from all over Lancashire will be singing in our virtual performance with singing leaders Emma and Tim.
This week I want you to think back to just before we went into lockdown when we were discussing and writing riddles. I want you to come up with a riddle to do with sport. It must be at least four lines long before you ask 'What am I?'. Make sure the harder clues are at the beginning and if you could use a simile that would be very impressive.
