Hello Year 3! I hope all your learning is going well so far this week. One of the tasks on the Robin Hood mat this week is telling the time. By the end of Year 3 we should be able to tell the time on an analogue clock and a digital clock (we sometimes call this a 24-hour clock).
This is what the time looks like on an analogue clock:
And this is what the time looks like on a digital clock (24-hour clock):
Start off by getting confident telling the time using the analogue clock, then you can move onto telling time using a digital clock. For example, if the time on an analogue clock is quarter past two in the afternoon then the time will show 14:15 on a digital clock.
This can be tricky but I know you are up for the challenge! Try your very best and I know you can do it! Here is a link to an interactive clock for you to use: https://www.topmarks.co.uk/time/teaching-clock

Good morning Year 3. I hope you are enjoying those science activities I posted yesterday- they are so much fun!
The weather looks a little bit brighter today and that always makes me feel happy. I hope you are all enjoying your walks outside and scooter and bike rides.
Thank you to Willow for showing me your amazing work on the Eatwell Guide and thank you to Connor for all those wonderful pictures and that lovely letter for me and Mrs Townend! Excellent work! Remember, you can share your work with me and Mrs Townend by sending pictures to photos@st-stephens-pri.lancs.sch.uk.
Happy learning!

Good morning Year 3! Welcome to a new week. I hope you all had a lovely weekend and that you enjoyed VE Day on Friday.
I have attached this week's learning below. It looks like a fun one! It's all about food. Try and keep up with your TTRS and your reading. TTRS will still only show you 2s, 3s, 5s and 10s.
I miss you! Happy learning!
