Week 4
What another beautiful weekend (weather wise)! Please note Year 2 that the previous sentence is a true exclamation sentence. We hope that you managed to enjoy some time out in the sun and got some exercise. It is lovely to see the pictures you send in of the things you have been doing. Stay safe and take care.

The project this week considers animals, a topic that we know you will enjoy.
The BBC daily educational input is up and running. Below is a link which shows what they are providing and where.
Here is the link for the TTS booklet mentioned last week.
Wonderful Writing Task
Since the topic this week is animals we would like you to create an animal, that is, not a real animal but an imaginary one. Your task on Friday will to be to write a description of your animal. It might be a good idea to draw a few examples over the week and then decide which is your favourite.

Sorry I did not post yesterday, I meant to as soon as I got into school but then other things took over and I did not make it. In school we are making a flag, for Monday, to say thank you to all the people who are still working throughout lockdown and I must say it is looking good. I'm sure it will appear on Facebook soon. I am looking forward to seeing what animals you come up with in the Wonderful Writing task. I hope you have a good weekend. Take care. X
Wednesday 29th April
Hi, we hope you all well. If you are doing the Joe Wick's workout you will all be very fit by now. Did you know that the blue whale can produce the loudest sound of any animal. At 188 decibels, the noise can be detected over 800 kilometres away.
Tuesday 28th April
Good morning Year 2. It looks like it is going to be a dull, cloudy day at the moment. We hope you got on well with yesterday's challenge. We will hopefully follow up on this soon.

Happy Monday morning. Well done Holly S, you are smashing the maths sites leader board for Year 2. We think you are going to really like this week's topic.
