Week 4
Friday 1st May 2020
Good morning Year 3! Welcome to a new month! I hope you have enjoyed your learning this week. It has been such a dreary few days, hasn't it? I hope the weather will improve soon. My poor guinea pigs spent their first night outside last night and it was raining. Don't worry they have special blankets and special warmers to keep them cosy. On Monday I will share some pictures of them in their new home.
Keep going with TTRS and your May goals! Have a lovely, relaxing weekend.

Hi Year 3! The weather still isn't so great but I do hope you're managing to get out for your daily exercise. I ran 10km this morning and it was SOOO windy! I thought I was going to be blown away!
Today is the last day of April. Something I like to do before we start a new month is set 5 or 6 goals that I want to achieve that month. Last month was to complete a 10km, run 5km under 30 minutes, paint the attic bedroom, find the perfect hutch for my guinea pigs, read 3 new books and eat a little bit healthier. Below I have attached a template that you might like to use. You don't have to, you can just use a piece of paper and create your own. I would love to see them so please send them to photos@st-stephens-pri.lancs.sch.uk.
Don't forget to logon to TTRS!

Hello Year 3! I am sorry that I am a bit later today. I am in school getting used to our classroom and making a few changes. Mrs Townend is also in school today and we have been talking about how much we miss you and can't wait to see you!
The Blackburn Diocesan Board of Education has produced some new and exciting resources for home learning linked to the "Off the Shelf" picture posts.
The idea is that you can choose any picture they find interesting to look at and discuss. You follow this by reading one of the two suggested Bible stories/text. You can then explore the story, its meaning and impact through a variety of activities that are of course ‘Questful’!
The resources contain activities that are suitable for children in Y1 – Y6 .You can decide which activity suits you best. This hopefully makes the resource all age/family friendly and therefore can be enjoyed by siblings together.
Happy learning and keep smiling!

Good morning Year 3! I hope you are all enjoying our new learning topic. I can see that more of you logged onto TTRS. Well done! Keep going!
Mrs Townend had another brilliant idea yesterday. I think we should have a go at this. Do you think you could write us a letter about or draw us a picture to show us what you've been up to at home? It would be lovely to see! If you do either of these, please email them (or any other photos of your home learning) to photos@st-stephens-pri.lancs.sch.uk.
Happy learning Year 3. We are missing you so much!

Good morning Year 3! I hope you and your families all had a lovely weekend. I spent my weekend decorating our spare room. We were covered in paint and it took ages to for me to get it out of my hair! We had lots of fun though and we managed to get out into the sunshine for our daily exercise.
I have attached this week's learning below. It looks like a really fun week! We have an 'Animals' theme to enjoy.
Don't forget to log onto TTRS. I have kept you tables as 2s, 3s, 5s, and 10s for this week again. You are all doing really well! It would be great if a few more of us could logon as we really need to keep practicing our times tables.
Have fun learning today!
