Good morning Year 3! Here is the second part of Chapter 1 of  ‘The Abominables’. I am really enjoying this story and I hope you are too. I hope you enjoy listening to the story. If you would like to answer some questions too I have popped them below.

1. What was the only item that Lady Agatha’s father had to remind him of Agatha?
2. Why did her father tell everyone that Lady Agatha had lost her mind and been buried in an avalanche?
3. On page 19 why is the word ‘had’ in italics?
4. What three reasons are given for Lady Agatha fainting?
5. Which adjective is used to describe the lilies on page 19?
6. Using the description on page 20 can you draw the place that the yeti took Agatha to?
