'Learn, Grow and Achieve Together Through God's Love'
We have set up a 'Home Learning' page under the 'Key Information' tab. This will provide more information for you about how to access a quality education for your children at home. Please remember to check your child's class page under the 'Children' tab for regular updates from your classteacher. Please collect a paper pack if you cannot access technology. If you would like more information please phone the DFE coronavirus helpline 0800 046 8687 or visit the full government guidance at:https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/guidance-to-educational-settings-about-covid-19/guidance-to-educational-settings-about-covid-19
Thank you for your tremendous support and understanding in this matter, if anything positive can come out of this then it is the wonderful community spirit and offers of help that have been overwhelming.
For home learning, we have the permission to use Robin Hood which comes with a weekly overview and it would be great if you could choose a few activities to do. Below is also a menu of activities on that you might want to join in with over the coming weeks. Just little ideas to keep the little people busy 😊
Some others bits that might help:
Sumdog is a fab app to help with maths and the class love it. You should have received the log in. On the Robin Hood scheme it refers to Numbots but we are using this instead.
Phonics play is also one that we access often, along with phonicsbloom.
If you pop oxford owl in google, you are also able to read a range of ebooks for free ☺️
Kodu and Scratch Jnr are both apps that the children are able to navigate and practise their coding skills on. You have also been sent a log in for iCompute which will also support the teaching and learning of ICT.
If you would like to share anything that you have done at home then please feel free to send a picture or the document to email@example.com.
Good morning everyone ☀️
Just a little message to say that I hope that everyone is ok and staying safe. I am going to miss my little class lots but needs must, and we must stay safe.
I hope that you’re enjoying some time at home and if you would like a challenge today it would be fab if you could join in with the ‘Rainbow Challenge’. Please make a rainbow Picture and pop it in your window so others can see when they’re walking past 🌈 Send a picture via email or pop it on Facebook. 😀
It is another beautiful day!
I hope you all had lots of fun with your parents and guardians and showed them all just why I am always so proud of you!
Today, why not make some food with your adults and let us know what you made and how you did it? Could you write a recipe and send us the instructions! Don’t forget, you’re allowed to be bossy in this writing! Have fun 💞
Good morning, I hope that you’ve all slept well and are ready for another day of fun with your adults. Did anybody manage to do their instructions? I’d love to see them!
Today’s challenge is for you to practise that lovely handwriting of yours. Write your alphabet in as many ways as you can. Can you use pens, pencils, sand, paint? Try and remember our new letter join letters. Have a fab day ☺️
Missing you all lots.
In Science, we started looking at plants so it would be great if you and your adults could look whilst you're out getting some fresh air for different types of plants. Think of a way of showing me what you saw! eg, write a list, make a booklet, draw a picture, make a video! Be Creative! Stay safe everyone xx
Morning all! Hope you're all feeling well.
This half term we have been looking at forgiveness. Show me what forgiveness means to you! <3 Have a lovely weekend and see you all soon xx
Good Morning everyone! Happy Monday :)
Today I have set a challenge on Sumdog for you to have a go at. I can see some of you have been playing it lots and you're doing a FANTASTIC job. Also, if you haven't completed the original games then why not have a go. You'll see that you get to pick yourself something special in it. What will you name yours? Have a nice day my little ducklings xx
Thank you everyone for your time on Sumdog yesterday. You did a fab job!
Before the holidays we started looking at our routine and how to stay healthy. Why not create some Art or take some photos to show me how you and your family stay healthy :)
Happy 1st April!
Today I would really like you to practise your alphabet. Sing it, write it in mud, draw it onto paper..however you like :)! Try and get all your letters in the right order. I think your adults will feel really proud and amazed at how well you know it already. My little superstars.
Stay safe everyone xxx
Morning little ones :)
How did you get on with your alphabet? For today's challenge, why not have a go at retelling the story of Zog. Who might be the dragon or the princess? Adults...who will you take the role of? I can't wait to see your videos. Have fun :)
Not the brightest of mornings but good morning all the same.
Today we want lots of counting please!! Forwards and backwards in 1s, 2s, 5s and 10s if we can. We were getting really good so I would love your adults to see! Have a great day my marvellous mathematicians xx
