7.5.21
It's been a shorter week in Year 3 because of the Bank Holiday, but we have still managed to fit in lots of fun learning!
In Maths, we spent our final week learning about Money and were able to use our learning to answer some tricky word problems. In English, we used subordinating conjunctions, main and subordinate clauses and speech in our independent writing based on The Enchanted Wood. In Science, we dissected a flower to examine the different parts of it. In French, we learnt how to say the names of some household objects. In our Music lessons, whilst continuing to learn our new song, we got the glockenspiels out and played some notes along with the song. In RE, our focus was on Judaism and the rules given in The Torah, to see if we thought they were still relevant for Jews today. In PSHE, we looked at things that helped and harmed our bodies.
⭐Our Star of the Week is Junior and our Role Model is Isabella. Mr Smart's PE Star of the Week is Holly B. Mrs Roberts' Headteacher award went to Ronan. Well done!⭐
