We have reached the end of another brilliant week. Christmas has well and truly arrived in Year 3! We have started working on our next unit in English - Poetry. We are in the process of creating some winter-themed shape poems and they are already looking amazing. We have started our weaving in Art and we are doing a fabulous job with it. Mrs Powell came to see us in action and was full of praise for how well we were doing with what is quite a tricky technique to master!
On Tuesday, we were VERY excited to see that an elf had arrived in our classroom. We had a chat and have decided to name him Jingle. He brought an Advent Calendar with him and each day one of us will get a chocolate from it. On Wednesday, he tied wool all over Miss Hindle's board - she wasn't pleased! And on Thursday, to apologise, he decorated our classroom with Christmas decorations and he brought us a book, "Santa Gets a Second Job", which Miss Hindle and Mrs Townend are reading to us in class.
⭐Our Star of the Week is Poppy and our Role Model is Lauri-Ann. Well done!⭐
